Previously known as The Sheaf of Wheat, a well known “record breaking” pub in the Coolock area, this iconic corner pub was the epicentre of the Coolock community. The economic downturn and an unfortunate fire led to the closure of this well-known building for over a year.
In 2013 The Cock & Bull group set out to re-open the former cornerstone of the community and to breathe fresh life into Coolock’s social scene. The building was completely refurbished and in May 2013 the unique “Cock and Bull” signage was mounted above the door, signalling a new experience in socialising for those living in the Dublin 5 area.
